The banks of the Chobe National Park boast one of the densest populations of elephant on the African continent – estimated at approximately 120,000. The Park is also home to a large number of buffalo, leopard and lion, along with a variety of antelope and abundant birdlife.

The Zambezi Queen and Chobe Princesses navigate approximately 25 km of the Chobe River, allowing you to enjoy moments such as waking up to the sight of an elephant drinking from the river or watching a fish eagle take flight, all from the comfort of your own luxurious bed.

**Chobe Princess:** As you drift down the Chobe River and spot incredible wildlife scenes, you’ll be able to completely relax in an intimate river safari experience. With only a small number of guests per boat staying in one of the three Chobe Princesses is like being on your very own houseboat. The entire boat can also be booked exclusively, giving you your very own private villa on the water.

**Zambezi Queen:** Navigating the great Chobe River, the Zambezi Queen by Mantis is a 42-metre luxury floating boutique hotel that embodies sophistication in one of the planet’s most diverse landscapes. Luxury accommodation comes in the form of 14 tasteful and luxurious suites – ten standard suites and four spacious master suites, all with outer decks so you can soak up the revitalising Chobe River breeze and appreciate uninterrupted views of the unique African landscape beyond. All suites have private balconies and fans, full length sliding shutter doors, mosquito screens and the finest finishes. Master Suites have their own private deck with outdoor furniture and panoramic views. On entering the first of 3 decks, guests will find a well appointed library and a computer facility with internet access. Enjoy a tour of Lubumbashi (DRC) then join the historical copper trail for short walking tours detailing Angola’s recent history with journey’s end in Lobito.

**The Train:** Each train has accommodation carriages, dining cars, lounge car, small gift shop, smoking lounge and observation car with open-air balcony. Maintaining the spirit of a bygone era, there are no radios or television sets on board. The three types of suites include a dedicated host available at all times and services the suites daily.

**Pullman/Pullman Gold Suite:** Pullman Suites are used on shorter journeys, while the slightly larger Pullman Gold Suites are used on longer journeys. These cabins feature an en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. During the day, the suites have a comfortable sofa-seat with a conversion to double or twin beds (side-by-side or upper and lower bunks) for the evening.

**Deluxe Suite:** Accommodates one or two passengers in double or twin beds with its own lounge area, and en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. Includes a bar fridge filled with the on-board beverages of the guests choice.

**Royal Suite:** Takes up half a carriage with its own private lounge area and en-suite bathroom with Victorian bath, separate shower, toilet and basin. Accommodates one or two passengers in double or twin beds and includes a bar fridge filled with the on-board beverages of the passengers choice.
