**Day 1: Seoul**
On arrival at Incheon International Airport you will be met and transferred to Seoul to check into your hotel.

**Day 2: Seoul > Sokcho**
Today set out to visit to Seoul’s Gyeongbokgung Palace. Built in 1395, this is arguably the most beautiful, and remains the largest, of all five palaces. The premises were once destroyed by fire during the Imjin War (1592-1598) but were later restored.

Next, head for Sokcho Beach with its beautiful coastal scenery, perfect for a relaxing stroll or summer swim. Just a short distance away, explore Jungang Central Market, famous for its fresh seafood, local snacks like dakgangjeong (sweet crispy chicken), and lively atmosphere — a great spot to taste Sokcho’s local flavours.

**Day 3: Sokcho > Seoraksan National Park > Sokcho**
Today set out to Seoraksan National Park. The tallest mountain in the Gangwon Province, Mt Sorak reaches up to 1,708 meters which makes it the best place to enjoy stunning natural views. Take the Cable Car up to visit the ruins of Gwongeumseong Fortress and Sinheungsa Temple. A moderate 2.4km walk through bamboo forests and streams leads to Biryong (Flying Dragon) Falls, where you can view the waterfall’s narrow plunge and its clear deep pool from a wooden viewing platform.

**Day 4: Sokcho > Andong**
Transfer to Andong after breakfast. Here you can visit Bongjeongsa, one of Korea’s oldest and most historically significant Buddhist temples. Its highlight is Geungnakjeon Hall, Korea’s oldest wooden building (7th century). The temple’s setting on the slopes of Mt Cheondeungsan offers a peaceful atmosphere, scenic forest trails, and a glimpse into ancient architectural craftsmanship. Also in Andong is Woryeonggyo Bridge, the longest wooden pedestrian bridge in Korea, stretching gracefully over the Nakdong River, particularly stunning at night.

**Day 5: Andong**
Further explore Andong today. A short ferry ride and easy hike lead you to Buyongdae Cliff, perched high above the Nakdong River with breathtaking views of the UNESCO-listed Hahoe Folk Village below. One of the most famous folk villages in Korea, this village is home to descendants of the Ryu clan of Pungsan, which still makes up 70% of the villagers. The village boasts many cultural treasures, earning it the designation as a National Folklore Cultural Heritage site.

**Day 6: Andong > Jeonju**
Transfer to Jeonju, the cultural capital of South Korea. At Jeonju Hanok Village you’ll find over 700 traditional Korean houses (hanok), offering a glimpse into Korea’s cultural heritage, its history, architecture, and local life. Stroll the cobblestone alleys and visit Gyeonggijeon Shrine, an historic site built in 1410 to enshrine the portrait of King Taejo, the founder of the Joseon Dynasty. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and ancient walls, you can explore the main hall, charming courtyards, and even try wearing traditional hanbok for memorable photos. Also enjoy a hands-on class in Hanji fan-making, crafting your own traditional Korean fan using Jeonju’s famed hanji paper, handmade from mulberry fibres, and bamboo frames.

**Day 7: Jeonju**
Today delve further into Jeonju’s traditions with a Moju-making experience, crafting your own herbal rice wine. With your own selection of fragrant herbs, you’ll brew and bottle your own Moju to take home – a flavorful keepsake!

Next, visit Jeonju’s lively and colourful Nambu Market. Since 1905, it’s been the go-to spot for fresh produce, seafood, handmade goods, and delicious street food like kongnamul gukbap (bean sprout soup with rice). The modern Youth Mall upstairs adds a trendy vibe with unique shops run by young entrepreneurs. On weekends, the vibrant night market comes alive with tasty bites and live music.

**Day 8: Jeonju > Suncheon > Yeosu**
This morning transfer to Suncheon for a tea ceremony at the Traditional Wild Tea House, set amongst Jogyesan Mountain’s pine forests. Learn the elegant art of darye – the traditional Korean tea ritual and enjoy the hands-on experience of harvesting and roasting wild tea leaves. Guided by expert hosts, every sip of fragrant tea is a moment of calm cultural connection.

Later, step back in time at Naganeupseong Folk Village, a beautifully preserved fortress town where over 200 traditional thatched-roof homes and ancient stone walls transport you to Korea’s Joseon Dynasty era. Wander through narrow alleys and historic buildings still lived in by descendants of the original villagers, explore cultural landmarks like the old government office and monuments, and soak up authentic rural life. Overnight in Yeosu.

**Day 9: Yeosu > Suncheon > Yeosu**
Today visit Suncheon Bay National Garden, a breathtaking sanctuary where nature and art beautifully intertwine across lush landscapes. Stroll through vibrant themed gardens, relax by tranquil lakes, and admire Korea’s iconic hibiscus blooms. Then head for Suncheon Bay Wetland Reserve, recognized as one of the world’s top five coastal wetlands, a serene and ecologically rich experience. Spanning a 3 km river with expansive mudflats and reed beds, it serves as a vital habitat for various bird species, including Hooded Cranes.

**Day 10: Yeosu > Seoul**
Today after checking out, transfer to the station to take the high-speed KTX train to Seoul and check into your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

**Day 11: Seoul**
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Incheon International Airport for your onward travels.
