**Day 1: Bucharest**
Upon arrival at Bucharest airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, you may enjoy a short orientation walk nearby or simply relax with a glass of Romanian wine.

**Day 2: Bucharest **
Today is dedicated to discovering Romania’s capital. Your guided exploration begins with a walk along Calea Victoriei, Bucharest’s most elegant boulevard, before continuing into the atmospheric Old Town with its cobblestone streets and historic inns. The visit continues with the monumental Palace of the Parliament, a striking reminder of Romania’s communist past, followed by Revolution Square, the heart of the 1989 uprising. You will also admire the Stavropoleos Monastery, a gem of Brancovenesc architecture. Lunch includes a tasting of traditional dishes paired with local wines.

**Day 3: Bucharest > Targoviste > Sinaia**
After breakfast, depart for Sinaia, with a stop in Targoviste to explore the Princely Court and the Chindia Tower. Continuing to the Carpathian Mountains, you arrive in Sinaia, often called the “Pearl of the Carpathians.” Here you visit the magnificent Peles Castle, the former summer residence of the Romanian royal family, and the more intimate Pelisor Castle, decorated in Art Nouveau style. Dinner at a mountain inn introduces you to hearty Transylvanian flavours and plum brandy.

**Day 4: Sinaia > Bran > Brasov**
The journey continues to Transylvania. Your first stop is Bran Castle, dramatically set on a rocky hill and forever tied to the Dracula legend. Next, explore Brasov in the afternoon, with time for an evening walk through the historic center.

**Day 5: Brasov **
A full day dedicated to exploring Brasov, one of the most beautiful Saxon towns in Romania. Highlights include the Black Church, the largest Gothic church in the country, Council Square, and the old town walls with their bastions. You will also walk along Rope Street, one of the narrowest in Europe, and ascend Tampa Mountain by cable car for panoramic views of the city. Lunch features local specialties paired with regional wines.

**Day 6: Brasov > Rupea > Saschiz > Sighisoara **
Depart Brasov and travel north towards Sighisoara. Along the way, stop to visit the hilltop Rupea Fortress, beautifully restored and commanding sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. Continue to Saschiz, known for its fortified church, part of the UNESCO World Heritage ensemble of Saxon villages. Arrival in Sighisoara, a perfectly preserved medieval citadel. Dinner is served in a medieval-style tavern with regional wine.

**Day 7: Sighisoara**
Today is devoted to exploring the treasures of Sighisoara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include the Church on the Hill, the iconic Clock Tower with its small history museum, and the Covered Staircase leading to the old school. You will stroll the narrow streets of the citadel and see the Vlad Dracul House, believed to be the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler. A wine tasting introduces you to Transylvanian varieties accompanied by local cheeses.

**Day 8: Sighisoara > Agnita > Sibiu**
Depart Sighisoara and stop in Agnita, a village with a fortified church that preserves the Saxon rural atmosphere. Continue to Sibiu, one of Romania’s most charming and vibrant cities. In the evening, enjoy a relaxed walk through its lively squares with tastings of traditional snacks and pastries.

**Day 9: Sibiu**
Your day begins with a visit to the Astra National Museum Complex, the largest open-air ethnographic museum in Europe, showcasing traditional Romanian rural life. Back in Sibiu, you will discover the Big Square and the Small Square, cross the famous Bridge of Lies, and visit the Brukenthal National Museum with its impressive European art collection. End the day climbing the Council Tower for panoramic views. A farewell dinner in Sibiu features refined Transylvanian dishes paired with carefully selected wines.

**Day 10: Sibiu > Bucharest**
After breakfast, transfer to Bucharest Airport for your onward flight.
