**Day 1: Milan > Stresa, Lake Maggiore**
On arrival transfer to the town of Stresa, on the shores of Lake Maggiore. Framed below by soft hills, and above by high mountain peaks, some of which have snow throughout the year, these features create Lake Maggiore’s unique microclimate. Thanks to this mild climate, many species of flowers and plants typical of sub-tropical areas have adapted to these coastal areas.

**Day 2: Stresa > Borromee Islands > Stressa**
Enjoy a full day excursion by shared boat to the Borromee Islands. Visit the Isola Madre, the largest island with its world-renowned botanical gardens. Continue to Fishermen’s Island, where there is time to explore the charming shops and have lunch on your own in its medieval village. Then we will visit the Isola Bella, home to the 17th century Palazzo Borromeo and its Baroque garden, arguably the most beautiful in Europe. After enjoying your day you will Return to Stresa by shared boat.

**Day 3: Stresa > Como > Menaggio**
Depart for Como and enjoy a guided walking tour of Como’s city centre – a walk through the walled city allows you to admire the various artistic monuments that have made Como such an interesting place. Later reach the town of Lenno and visit the charming Villa Balbianello before checking in at your accommodation in Menaggio.

**Day 4: Menaggio > Tirano > St Moritz > Menaggio**
Travel to St Moritz in Switzerland today. Drive with your guide to Tirano before joining the Bernina Express, the highest railway in Europe. Experience the breathtaking landscapes of the Alps. Upon arrival enjoy a tour of this exquisite town situated in the spectacular Upper Engadine Valley. Mid afternoon transfer back to Menaggio.

**Day 5: Menagion > Bellagio > Tremezzo > Menaggio**
Take the boat across Lake Como to Bellagio, a picturesque village with small streets, luxury villas and lush gardens. Visit Villa Melzi and its beautiful garden. Time to explore on your own then take the ferry back to Menaggio.

**Day 6: Menaggio > Milan**
Private transfer to Milan where arrangements end.
