Suggested Itinerary:
Day 1/2 -Collect your rental car and start your adventure in Launceston. The largest city in northern Tasmania this city is also a food bowl of top Tasmanian produce – on your plate and in your glass. From farmers’ markets and paddock-to-plate meals to urban bars and the Tamar Valley’s cool-climate wineries, Launceston sits at the global dinner table as a UNESCO City of Gastronomy.
1 night in Launceston

Day2/3 - This morning drive from Launceston to Cradle Mountain which just takes just of over 2 hours. It is worthwhile to make time to stop at Woolmers Estate which is Australia's finest example of a pioneer farm from the early 1800s and one of Tasmania's World Heritage Convict Sites. Woolmers was continuously occupied by the Archer family from around 1817 to 1994 and is acknowledged as one of the most outstanding examples of 19th century rural settlements in Australia.

Day 4/5 - Cradle Mountain to Freycinet National Park the drive time being approximately 4 hours. Towering pink-hued mountains, known as the Hazards, shadow the landscape, and at their foot are the calm, blue waters of Wineglass Bay. Coastal forests beckon keen hikers, while gourmet delights in local seafood and cool climate wines are waiting for you to explore.

Day Day 6/7 - The drive from Freycinet to Hobart takes just over 2.5 hours. Hobart, capital of Australia's island state of Tasmania, sits on the River Derwent. At its fashionable Salamanca Place, old sandstone warehouses host galleries and cafes. Nearby is Battery Point, a historic district with narrow lanes and colonial-era cottages.
