**Day 1: St. John’s**
Collect your rental vehicle on arrival. The rest of the day is at leisure.

**Day 2: St. John’s**
Today is dedicated to sightseeing in St John’s and the surrounding areas. Drive up Signal Hill for spectacular views and take a trip out to Cape Spear National Historic Site, the most easterly point in North America. Perhaps stop at Quidi Vidi Brewery for a pint before returning to your hotel for the night.

**Day 3: Avalon Peninsula**
Spend the day exploring the villages of the Avalon Peninsula. At Bay Bulls take a boat excursion to see whales and puffins, and at Ferryland visit the home of the original Colony of Avalon founded in 1621.

**Day 4: St. John’s > Trinity **
Leave St John’s and embark on your journey to the Bonavista Peninsula, known for its rugged coastlines and some of the oldest settlements in Newfoundland.

**Day 5: Trinity **
Explore this enchanting village full of restored white and pastel coloured clapboard houses set along a dramatic coastline. If you are feeling active, hike the trail up Gun Hill for 360 degree views or live the history of the area by joining the Trinity Pageant walking theatre.

**Day 6: Bonavista Peninsula **
Hike the Skerwink Trail at Port Rexton for a spectacular view of the surrounding villages set against the ocean and then head north to the town of Bonavista where you can visit the Ryan Premises National Historic Site, a 19th century replica fish processing factory. Bonavista is also home to a striped lighthouse and a replica of John Cabot’s ship.

**Day 7: Trinity > Twillingate **
Pass through Terra Nova National Park and its coniferous forests, ponds and walking trails. Arrive in Twillingate for an afternoon iceberg watch boat tour, offering the chance to see icebergs, whales and spectacular views.

**Day 8: Twillingate > Norris Point **
Today drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Gros Morne National Park, populated by little villages, bare-topped mountains and forests inhabited by moose and caribou.

**Day 9: Gros Morne National Park**
This morning is free to explore the area with your rental car. This afternoon take a boat tour of the landlocked freshwater fjord of Western Brook Pond, carved by glaciers and home to plentiful waterfalls and wildlife.

**Day 10: Gros Morne National Park**
Explore the glacial valleys and intriguing rock formations of Gros Morne National Park. Don’t miss the Tablelands, a rare outcrop of the Earth’s mantle pushed skyward half a billion years ago.

**Day 11: Norris Point > St. Anthony **
Stop to see the ancient cemeteries of the Maritime Archaic People at Port Au Choix National Historic Site before continuing on to St Anthony, the ‘Iceberg Capital of the World’.

**Day 12: St. Anthony  > L’Anse aux Meadows > St. Anthony **
Today visit the remains of the earliest European settlement in the Americas at the L’Anse aux Meadows National Historic site. Return to St Anthony for the night.

**Day 13: St. Anthony > Norris Point**

Make your way back down the peninsula to Norris Point and settle in for one more night.

**Day 14: Norris Point > Deer Lake**
Drive to Deer Lake Airport, where arrangements ends.
