YOU Travel Orewa

With over 30 years in the travel industry (28 years in Orewa) I have been fortunate to travel the world.   Favourite destinations would have to be Italy, France, Maldives, Brazil, Bali to name a few.

Travel is a changing industry and I take every opportunity to upskill, train and to personally experience the next on trend destination. 

I am a fully accredited member of CLIA - Cruise Lines International Association and have recently qualified as a Cruise Master.

I love  creating bespoke unique travel itineraries , making suggestions you didn’t know existed and building a wonderful  relationship with my clients.

I started work in this agency when I left Orewa College in 1985.  After a couple of years here, I wanted to travel more myself.

So after travelling, working for an airline, a travel wholesaler and raising a family, I’ve come full circle.  It’s great to be back here!

I have just returned from a  wonderful trip to France.  Europe is one of my favourite destinations, especially Italy, France, UK & Ireland.

Adventure Travel is also high on the list.  I’ve been lucky to travel extensively through Europe, USA, Canada, Pacific, South Africa, Asia and Australia.  Any opportunity to travel, I’ll jump at it.

Getting to know my clients and creating memorable holidays for them is what I love.  I look forward to meeting you.

I have been in travel for 32 years working in central city and then managing an agency in Milford  before moving to the Orewa area eleven years ago.

I have travelled the world extensively  from South Africa to South America , Europe , Pacific , Asia , Australia and the USA and of course all around New Zealand. I live on a three acre rural farm with my wife and three teenage boys.

I’m passionate about making my clients travel dreams come true , weather it be cruising , Intrepid , luxury or just finding that little piece of paradise in the world to relax on a deck chair.

I have lived on the Hibiscus Coast for over 20 years but have recently moved to Kumeu.  My husband and I have a 2 year old daughter who keeps us busy.  After receiving a Diploma in Travel in Tourism I came to YOU Travel Orewa 5 years ago and over the years have learnt so much from the team here.

Travelling is such a rich and exciting experience and with people leading such busy lives nowadays, I love finding the perfect holiday for YOU – whatever that may be!

Destinations I have travelled include Australia extensively, Fiji, Rarotonga, Aitutaki, Bali, Ireland, Doha, Italy, France, Mediterranean Cruise, UK, USA, Singapore, Mexican Riviera Cruise and a P&O Comedy Cruise.  

I have lived on the Hibiscus Coast for 25  years and I originally worked here at YOU Travel Orewa 20 years ago when it was formerly known as United Travel Orewa. This was my first job in the industry after completing my Diploma of Travel and Tourism course. My mother Mary also used to work in this very same store as a Travel agent in the 1980’s.

I have 2 children which has seen my requirements and style of travel change over the last 10 years.  I love researching for the perfect family holiday and discovering new destinations that cater for the whole family.

Destinations I have visited included Bali, Australia, Fiji, USA, UK and a Contiki  Tour through Europe.
